Stories good....actually getting started on one...ummm...easier said than done
Now travel thousands of years into the future...see the fruits of our labor. Through a chemical reaction and our knowledge on the behavior of light...film became a new outlet for story telling. And then...computers rose to the top to add a little more flare....a digital environment in which 1's and zero's could create beautiful sunrises of multiple stars over an alian landscape or make life around us slow down to a speed where one captivating moment could go on forever. Me, personnaly, would love to have a little red button capable of slowing down time...like those powerful emotional moments that always seem to happen in the rain...so I hit the button....and Father time takes a vacation. If I am the director, my medium would be life...and my words as the tool thats used to reach the masses. Unfortunately, another result is reality TV...but I won't go there..in an attempt to stay positive and write something that allows me to move forward instead of standing still...bitching about the same old things. But why do we like movies so much? Just like a book, it gives us something else to think about. It gives us a break from our everyday existance and allows us to go somewhere else....and also involves us with the creator in a way a book cannot. Now, the downside some might say...would be that with a book, we choose the colors, we choose the faces of the characters that will live in our mind from prolouge to epilouge. Thats all fine, but movies allow for a more in depth oultet for story tellers. When I'm writing my screenplays, I have a vision of how my characters will look, deliver dialouge, and for a writer...film gives me a way to present my story to an audience on a more in depth scale than ink and pieces of paper.
Then why do I write the blogs that I do? If print is a lesser way to tell a story...why even bother??? Which is why I'm writing this thing. Call it a mission statement. Innovation is the key now adays to stay in the game. I dont want to be an easy come - easy go fad. To all those that know me...this is my declaration to do something different...consequences be damned. Though life state side will be extremely busy at times...I wont stop. If you see me falling at the wasteside...smack the ever living shit out of me. If you enjoyed this, you will find my other writings at my myspace blog. -Adam VT

Believe me when I say this: "If I see you falling at the wasteside... I will swiftly smack the ever living shit out of you!" What are friends for, right?
